Beginning of the trail, the road to the waterfall

In the direction towards the Virje waterfall
After visiting the waterfall, we return to the starting point and turn left down the concrete road, cross the wooden bridge and then turn right to the karst spring of the Glijun stream, where the water catchment for the reservoir lake is located.

Stream Gljun

At the reservoir lake
When we reach the spring, we turn around and start along the concrete road to the lake (water catchment). We continue along the road by the lake and further along the concrete road, which is basically a concrete pipe for the flow of water from the reservoir lake to the hydroelectric power plant. Continue to the first junction and turn left down towards Bovec Golf Course.
After crossing a small stone bridge, we come to an asphalt road, which we follow to the left uphill to the village of Plužna. In the center of this village, turn left uphill and follow the narrow road back to the parking lot where we started the tour.
