Planina above Soča is a scenic mountain located north of the village of Soča. From the mountain on which the hunting lodge stands, we have a beautiful view of the mountains that rise above the upper course of the Soča river valley.

TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS
From the village of Soča, head for the track after the Bavški Grintavec signs. The path begins to climb quite steeply through the forest at the beginning and in a good half hour’s walk leads us to the mountain or the abandoned village of Lemovje.

Here the path first turns slightly to the left across the meadow, then soon turns to the right and begins to climb steeply again, partly through the forest, partly over steep meadows.

The path then turns to the left, where the slope slightly decreases. Next is the crossing of the steep southern slopes under Kolom (1924 m), which leads us to the hunting lodge on the Planina above Soča.
