TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS
From the hut of dr. Klementa Juga in Lepena, we continue along the wide marked path in the direction of the Krn lake. The wide and not too steep path splits into two parts after a few minutes of walking. The left, which is a bit steeper than usual, and the right, flatter and slightly longer, is suitable for small children and the elderly. Both routes mostly climb through the forest to the upper station of the cable car and cross a few times on the way.

From the upper station of the freight cable car, we continue along the same route, which climbs steeply along a wide transport road, which quickly leads us to the measurement of the snow height (every year in April).

From here on, the road begins to descend and, passing the turnoff for Velika Baba, quickly leads us to the next crossroads, where we leave the road and continue our journey to the left down the footpath, which in a few minutes will lead us to the home at Krn lake (if we continue along the road, we will bypass the mountain home).
Razpotje
From the lodge, we continue straight in the direction of Krn and Lake Krn along a winding path, which is soon joined by a path that bypasses the mountain lodge. We continue past the shepherd’s hut, after which we come to the next crossroad, where we continue again in the direction of Krn (left Bogatin, Mali Šmohor and the home on Komna).
After a few more minutes, the folding path leads us to the pearl of the Krn foothills. In front of us, we see Lake Krn and the inviting meadows next to it for resting.
