TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS
From the parking lot, we continue along the road, but this only takes us past a few houses (mainly holiday cottages) in about 15 minutes to the place where the road splits into two parts (there used to be a parking lot at the intersection, but today parking is prohibited).
We continue on the lower right road (on the upper road we reach the freight cable car that leads to Pogačnik mountain hut) in the direction of Dolič, Luknja and Prehodavci. At first, we follow the winding road, which leads us over scenic meadows, and higher up through the forest, almost to its end, or more precisely to the marked crossroad, where the marked footpath towards Prehodavci branches off to the right (it takes about 1 hour to get here).

Start of the trail, looking back
From the crossroads in the area called Utro, we continue to the right (straight to Luknja, Triglav and Dolič), where we first cross partly overgrown gravel and some torrents. After a few minutes of crossing with a few short ups and downs, we arrive at the beginning of Zadnjiški dol. Here the path begins to climb moderately on the right side of the valley. Higher up, the path turns a little more to the right, where it temporarily takes us into the forest, and then returns to a more stony world. The path ahead leads us to a well, next to which there is a small bench where we can rest. In the continuation, the path climbs moderately to steeply for some time and gradually passes to the scree below Zadnjiški Ozebnik. With a view of the nearby peaks of the surrounding peaks, we then climb to the Čez Dol saddle, where the path is laid out and split into two parts.

At the aforementioned crossroad, continue left in the direction of the mountain hut Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih (straight to the Trenta) and then climb the path that continues over a rather steep and in places exposed slope. We then follow this slightly narrower path to a nearby crossroads, where we join the mule track from Trenta.
(If we think the short, slightly exposed part is too dangerous, we can also reach the mentioned crossroads by a slightly longer route. In this case, at the previous crossroads, continue straight in the direction of Trenta and then a little further to the left in the direction of Prehodavci).
Near the hut
At the aforementioned crossroad, we continue straight ahead and then climb a wide mule track, which crosses steep and precipitous slopes. During the climb over the steep slope, we will notice a small “chapel” (statue of Mary with Jesus) on the left. In the following, the slope along which the path runs becomes less steep and increasingly scenic. Higher up, the well-preserved mule track leads us over the slightly less steep slope of Zelena griva, and above it the slope becomes steeper again. A few short steep sections follow, and then the trail and the slope level out as well. A little above the indistinct turning point, we arrive at a marked crossroad, where we continue to the left (to the right, Lepo or Veliko špičje – the Stanko Kos path, straight towards mountain hut Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih) towards the nearby hut Zasavska koča in Prehodavcih. The path ahead leads us along a wide and scenic ridge, and only this takes us past the winter bivouac to hut Zasavska koča in a few minutes.
