DOM TRENTA, TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK MUSEUM AND INFORMATION CENTER
Just under 10 kilometers from us, in the village of Trenta, there is Trenta Museum and the Triglav National Park Information Center.
The Triglav National Park Information Center Dom Trenta offers a multi-vision presentation of the TNP and several exhibitions about Trenta’s nature, environment and people in it.

Dom Trenta is a cultural and social center of the indescribably beautiful and sometimes forgotten Trenta due to its small population. It presents the cultural landscape, rich ethnological heritage, nature and past life in Trenta, as well as the peculiarities of the Triglav National Park, the only national park in Slovenia:
- multivision presentation of the natural peculiarities of the TNP;
- 8-screen video installation about the underwater world of the Soča River in four seasons: Secrets of the Soča – Time Horizon;
- installation Forest – Time Triptych (about the forests of the Julian Alps, Trenta and Pokljuka);
- ethnology, culture and history of Trenta;
- mountain heritage.
The Triglav National Park Information Centre also offers facilities for organising seminars, congresses, business meetings and professional workshops.
Several halls are available:
- Trenta Guides Hall for up to 100 people,
- multipurpose hall for 70–100 people,
- lounge in the Trenta House for up to 20 people,
- meeting room in the Trenta House for up to 20 people,
- possibility of working in separate groups,
* possibility of renting a laptop and a smart board with an interactive projector.
