Saturday:
8.00: Breakfast delivered to your door.
Basket of local, ecologically produced specialties. Try the home-made yogurt from the nearby ecological farms and the renowned Bovec sheep cheese, which is considered a very special local product and is famous throughout Slovenia. Treat yourselves to some locally produced cured meats, which are dried in over a hundred years old Karst stone cellars, which gives them a wonderful aroma and authentic taste. Then sweeten your soul with some local honey from alpine flowers and some very special home-made marmalade from the Vipava Valley, which will put a smile on your face.
9.00 – 11.00:
Christmas workshop with babysitter Mihaela
Your children will spend the morning with a sitter. Making lanterns, fairy tales about the Soška Valley and other creative activities will surely make for an unforgettable morning.
11:00: It’s Santa Claus time!
After the morning’s workshop, Santa Claus will visit the children!

In the meantime..
Take some ‘you’ time
While your children are having fun in safe hands, you can enjoy an activity that the children are still too young for. Take a hike to the nearby hill or treat yourself to a massage for two in the comfort of your apartment. In addition to classic massages, we also offer access bars therapy.

12.00 – 18.00: Time for winter explorations
Winter in the Soška Valley offers many opportunities for exploration and entertainment. Put on warm gloves and go exploring the Soška trail, visit the forgotten Lemovje, and if there is enough snow, you can also go sledging on the Mangart ski slope or on the surrounding slopes and snowshoeing.
To make the memories truly unforgettable, you can pick up a Polaroid camera at the reception and perpetuate your winter experiences forever.

19.00 – 21.00:
Stargazing workshop and lantern walk
In cooperation with the astronomical society Javornik, we organize a stargazing workshop on Saturday evenings. We will see planetary nebulae, star clusters and planets, the Moon and exciting things from the Orion constellation.

Sunday:
10.00 – 15.00:
(Late) check-out
If you would like to use Sunday for additional wandering, late check-out is available.
Ideas for hike tours or snowshoeing in case of snow:
They say a good day starts with a good morning. Imagine what day lies ahead if you start it by admiring the sunrise from a 2,000-metre high mountain. Take an early ride along the highest Slovenian alpine road all the way to the Mangart Saddle (Mangartsko sedlo), where you can relax and enjoy the caresses of the first morning rays of sunlight. And if that is too early, too, you can simply swap the sunrise for a charming sunset.
From your apartment take the trail to the Lepena Valley. The trail will take you past the famous Soča basins all the way to the confluence of the Soča river and the Lepenjica stream. Continue along the latter and soon enough you will reach a charming forest path that will lead you to a very special place, the Šunik Water Grove. Walking across the small wooden bridges rising over the emerald pools, you will feel as though you’ve entered a fairyland. Caress the moss-clad stones and let those healing water drops sprinkle your face. The grove is a strong energy juncture that will undoubtedly help you regain your strength.
Starting points and estimated trekking time:
Soča – Šunik Water Grove: 1 h walk
You can find additional information on the Šunik Water Grove here.
Put down your luggage and take a walk into the past. A mysterious ancient forest will lead you along a narrow path to the abandoned hamlet of Lemovje, which lies on the slope of Bavški Grintavec. Close your eyes and you may just hear the pleasant heartbeat of the village that used to lie in this isolated place. Then open your eyes and let yourself be seduced by the abandoned farms that still reflect the typical local architecture. The deserted grazing areas surrounded by stonewalls, and the remains of the ledges where 50 years ago potatoes were still being grown will reveal to you what life here used to be like. If the beautiful views over the Vrsnik Valley fill you with new energy, do continue to Planina nad Sočo (1,400 m).
Starting points and estimated trekking time:
Soča – Lemovje: 45 minutes
Soča – Planina nad Sočo: 2 hours and 30 minutes
For an additional fee and upon prior agreement, we can also organize a helicopter panoramic flight on Sunday, which takes you over the Julian Alps and the Triglav National Park, where you can see the famous Triglav Lakes from the air and admire our highest mountain, Triglav.
